Olamide Reveals Wizkid Entered Music Industry Before Him

Olamide has revealed that Wizkid started his music career before he did.

Both stars became widely known around 2010, but Wizkid had already been putting out music by that time.

Wizkid first gained attention with ‘Holla At Your Boy’ early in 2010, while Olamide followed a few months later with ‘Eni Duro.’

The two were also nominees for the Next Rated category at the 2011 Headies Awards, which Wizkid won.

Wizkid’s music career began even earlier.

He appeared on rapper M.I’s single ‘Fast Money/Fast Cars’ in 2008, giving him experience in the industry long before Olamide started releasing his own hits.

Olamide explained that while he came onto the scene later, he was determined to create his own path.
