Pastor Sempa Reflects on DJ Bush Baby’s Life and Lasting Legacy
The entertainment community continues to mourn the loss of a remarkable talent and dear friend, DJ Bush Baby, born Michael Owor.
Among those remembering him is Pastor Martin Sempa, who worked closely with the late icon and shared heartfelt words about his legacy and character.
“We lost a good friend today. Very talented, loyal, and focused creative artiste, DJ Bush Baby,” Pastor Sempa wrote.
The two were friends and colleagues at Radio Uganda Green Channel, where they both served as DJs.
Pastor Sempa was known as Musumba DJ, while Michael Owor earned his fame as DJ Bush Baby.
Beyond being a creative force, DJ Bush Baby was a man of strong faith.
“Farewell, legendary icon, whose walk with Christ became even more evident after his near-death accident,” Pastor Sempa wrote.
The impact DJ Bush Baby made on Uganda’s music scene and the lives of those around him remains undeniable.
As the community bids farewell to this inspiring figure, his legacy of talent, loyalty, and faith continues to shine.
DJ Bush Baby was tragically found dead in his studio in Entebbe on June 5.
He will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Tororo, Magola Pajangango off Iyolwa Road, on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Rest in peace, legend.
