Ray G Dismisses Criticism of Bebe Cool’s Circumference, Says the Song Is Good

Western Uganda’s celebrated singer, Ray G, whose real name is Reagan Muhairwe, has shared his thoughts on why a good song may fail to receive the attention it deserves, while a song that may not necessarily be good can gain widespread attention.

According to the singer, the issue stems from the way people direct their focus when it comes to music as a craft.

During an interview on NBS After 5, the “Forever” hit maker explained that a good song often gets a simple round of applause, with listeners acknowledging its quality before moving on.

In contrast, a bad song becomes the subject of mockery and jokes, and as people repeatedly discuss how bad it is, the song unintentionally gains popularity, overshadowing the better-quality songs.

When commenting on Bebe Cool’s latest release, Circumference, Ray G expressed his admiration for the track, describing it as a good song.

Despite the criticism it has faced from both critics and social media, the singer believes the song is impressive and features a highly creative video.

He further suggested that there might be underlying reasons or forces attempting to undermine the song, but he concluded that, overall, the song is good.
