“Talk to Me, Not the Media,” Promoter Biggie Events Responds to Sebatta’s Concert Payment Complaint

Events promoter Hajjat Mariam Mutakubwa, popularly known as Biggie Events, has addressed the public accusations made by veteran Kadongo Kamu singer Lord Fred Sebatta.

Despite the show drawing an impressive number of attendees and being executed flawlessly, Sebatta claimed that he had not received the full payment agreed upon with the event promoter for his December 2024 concert at Kampala Serena Hotel, which celebrated his 42 years in the music industry.

In a media interview conducted on phone, Biggie questioned why Sebatta, who has never sat down to discuss the matter with her, would rush to rant to the media.

“Did the media contract him? Sebatta should look for the promoter that organized his concert. The media did not organize his concert,” she said.
