Viboyo Says Many Ugandan Songs Today Feel Rushed

LugaFlow rapper and music producer Viboyo Oweyo, born Moses Nsubuga, has shared his thoughts on the current state of Ugandan music.

Speaking during an appearance on Next Branch, Viboyo said many songs released today feel rushed.

According to him, the rapid growth of recording studios has made it easier for artistes to record and release music quickly, often without enough research, feedback, or refinement.

He noted that this has created an oversupply of songs in the industry, with both well prepared and poorly prepared music entering the market at the same time.

Viboyo advised fellow artistes to welcome constructive criticism as part of the creative process and focus on improving their craft.

He also urged them to ignore negativity on social media and concentrate on making better music.
