VIP Jemo Breaks Silence on Music Break, Dismisses Pride and Drug Use as the Cause

The self-proclaimed King of the New School, rapper VIP Jemo, whose real name is James Kasozi Batende, has dismissed claims that his break from music was due to pride or drug use.

Speaking to Sanyuka TV, he clarified that he does not use drugs and is not arrogant, emphasizing that he considers himself one of the calmest musicians in Uganda.

He explained that his hiatus was not due to personal issues but rather a strategic decision to reorganize his finances and secure enough capital to sustain his music career.

He believes people assume he faded from the industry simply because he was not releasing new music.

Now back in the studio and actively working on new projects, VIP Jemo is ready to prove that assumption wrong and has called on his fans to show their full support.
