Vybz Kartel Shuts Down Uganda Concert Reports
Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel has warned fans about fake promotions claiming he will tour East Africa in May 2026.
Social media posts recently suggested the singer would perform in Uganda, exciting many of his supporters.
But Vybz Kartel quickly shut down the reports, saying neither he nor his management knows anything about the supposed shows.
Neither my management nor I have any involvement in, or knowledge of, these shows. Any claims are unauthorized and could be scams.
Vybz Kartel urged fans and promoters not to send money or deal with people advertising the alleged tour.
He added that any real announcements about his concerts will only come from his verified platforms or through his official representatives, including manager Linton T. J. White and attorney Jason Mitchell.
