Why Young Producers Are Struggling, According to Paddyman

Celebrated veteran producer Paddyman, whose real name is Paddy Kayiwa Mukasa, has opened up about the struggles music producers face behind the scenes.

During a media chat, he revealed that one of the biggest challenges is acquiring top-quality studio equipment because it is very expensive.

For young producers starting out, Paddy Man pointed out that their biggest challenge is a lack of money.

“Many young producers say they are often let down by musicians who refuse to pay, leaving them to work for free or cling to promises that rarely come true,” he explained.

Sharing the secrets to his long-standing success, Paddyman said that what has kept him strong in the industry is, first and foremost, God.

He also credited pure passion, saying that his love for the job drives him every day.
