Bebe Cool Urges Ugandan Musicians to Keep Competition Verbal

In recent times, the competition among Ugandan musicians has taken a troubling turn, evolving from musical battles to physical confrontations.

Notable incidents include violent clashes between singers Pallaso and Alien Skin, which led to the destruction of property.

Bebe Cool, a veteran artiste who has had his own share of feuds, recently spoke out about the concerning rise in violence and its negative impact on the industry.

While he acknowledged that competition is a natural part of the music world, he emphasized the importance of keeping it verbal.

He warned that when competition turns violent, it can have serious consequences, both legally and financially.

“As soon as it turns physical, the costs are significant. Careers are jeopardized because corporate companies hesitate to partner with musicians known for violence,” he said.

The “Bogolako” hitmaker urged musicians to be mindful of their conduct, stressing that it directly affects their careers and financial success.

In conclusion, he reiterated that competition is healthy, but only as long as it remains constructive, not destructive.
