Frank Gashumba Urges Gravity, Bebe to Settle Dispute Privately

The ongoing dispute between Gravity Omutujju and Bebe Cool has drawn fresh attention as more voices weigh in.

At the center of the fallout are claims of unpaid money linked to the 2026 National Resistance Movement (NRM) campaign activities.

Gravity Omutujju alleges that Bebe Cool withheld UGX 400 million from an agreed UGX 500 million payment for campaign performances.

He also claims an additional UGX 15 million tied to the “Unstoppable” campaign.

I was meant to be paid Shs 4 million at every rally. In total I was owed Shs 500 million. Of this, he paid me Shs 100 million. Now Shs 400 million is still pending to date.

As the dispute plays out in public, Ugandan businessman and political commentator Frank Gashumba has urged both artistes to handle the matter privately.

While speaking on Sanyuka Uncut, he told them to step away from public exchanges and settle their differences through direct discussion.

Gravity Omutujju and Bebe Cool should take their disagreement out of the media. They need to sit down, they both supported the same party and it is the one that pays them, and settle their dispute. They should not take their dispute to the media to avoid becoming a laughing stock.

His remarks come as the disagreement continues to play out in public, with both artistes yet to resolve the issue.
