Yung Mulo Praises Fiancée Brenda Ahead of Introduction: “She Has Endured a Lot”

Eight years after they got together and two children later, Yung Mulo says he is finally doing right by longtime partner Kahima Brenda.

The singer, who recently paid a private Kukyala visit to Brenda’s aunt’s home in Bukoto, opened up about their relationship during an interview with Sanyuka TV ahead of their introduction ceremony.

For Mulo, the reason their relationship has lasted this long comes down to one thing: friendship.

I see that we are friends. In this world, we look for friends. We do not look for people who work against us. I see that she is a friend to me, and she has been there for me.

But friendship alone did not carry the relationship.

Mulo admitted Brenda has had to put up with a lot over the years, including challenges he says stemmed from his own actions.

She has also endured a lot. She has put up with a lot of bullshit backstage. Do you think I am not easy to be with?

That is why the upcoming introduction ceremony means more to him than fulfilling a cultural obligation.

After years of patience from Brenda and encouragement from her family, Mulo says making the relationship official is his way of showing appreciation.

I am appreciating her. I am also appreciating her family for being so patient with me all these years and for encouraging her, “Stay with him; he will do the right thing.” So, I am finally doing the right thing.

The couple will hold their introduction ceremony on June 20, 2026, in Mpererwe.
