“Nigerian People Are Cold-Hearted” — Azealia Banks Claims

Nigerians on X clashed with Azealia Banks after the she described Nigerian people as “cold-hearted” toward Black Americans.

The social media dispute escalated after the Amercian rapper claimed she felt more connected to Ghana and its people than Nigerians.

I do not want to be Nigerian because Nigerian people are cold-hearted and push black Americans away.

Rather than calming the backlash that followed, Azealia Banks kept engaging critics directly and continued mocking Nigerians during the exchanges.

She also praised Ghana for being more welcoming to Black Americans and spoke proudly about her Ghanaian heritage.
