His comments come after a demanding stretch that included the release of 5IVE in 2025 and major appearances on international stages like Coachella in 2026.

While some fans hoped another project was already on the way, Davido seems more focused on performances and long term plans than rushing back into the studio.

Still, he hinted that a collaborative project with Chris Brown could arrive in 2027.
