DJ Nimrod Calls Out Artistes Who Rehearsed but Missed Karole Kasita Concert
DJ Nimrod has questioned the absence of several artistes who rehearsed with Karole Kasita ahead of her recently concluded concert at Kampala Serena Hotel.
The concert, dubbed The Power Within, attracted a large crowd, with Cindy Sanyu, Vinka, Fik Fameica, Geosteady, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Madoxx Sematimba, Aziz Azion, Sqoop Larma, and Spice Diana among the artistes who performed.
Reflecting on the show, Nimrod said one thing he did not like was the absence of several artistes who had appeared in rehearsal videos before the concert.

What I did not like about the show, number one, was that we saw videos of musicians rehearsing with Karole Kasita. When the show finally happened, we did not see them perform the songs they had rehearsed with her during the week.
His remarks come weeks after Karole addressed questions about the absence of fellow artistes at her concert press conference.
At the time, some fans wondered whether she had fallen out with colleagues after only Dax Vibez attended the event.
Karole dismissed the speculation and pointed to rehearsal sessions with fellow artistes as proof that they remained on good terms.

Me and artistes we are okay. I think you have been seeing me and artistes in rehearsals on my social media pages. That means that me and artistes are okay. Just for this particular one, they are not here because I did not think of inviting them.
It is those same rehearsal sessions that Nimrod says raised expectations ahead of the concert.
Eddy Kenzo, Feffe Bussi, and Elijah Kitaka did not show up. Feffe, why didn’t you come? She had to perform ‘Bestie’, ‘Muhammad Ali’, and ‘Ebyo Byoli’ alone. Winnie Nwagi also did not come.
While he acknowledged that artistes may sometimes have scheduling conflicts, Nimrod argued that they should avoid creating expectations if they already know they will not attend the show.

If you know you have another show, then do not go for rehearsals. Or maybe they went for rehearsals just to hype the show. That is understandable. But if you did not have a show, you were in Kampala, you rehearsed, and then you did not come, that is not good.
