Hellen Lukoma Says There Is No Bad Blood With Kataleya & Kandle

Hellen Lukoma says she never held a grudge against Kataleya & Kandle despite their past public fallout.

The actress and singer addressed the issue during an appearance on Sanyuka Uncut when the conversation turned to her widely publicized exchange with the music duo.

Did I forgive them? I have never gotten angry at them. It was a moment, they said what they said, I said what I said, we did not have to be on the same page.

The comments revisited a clash that started after the former HB Toxic member shared her views on the duo’s career.

Kataleya & Kandle responded publicly, describing Lukoma as “old” and claiming she lacked active solo musical hits.

Those remarks annoyed Lukoma and prompted her to respond, though she now sees the exchange as a disagreement between people who were not on the same page.

What they said annoyed me of course and that is why I retaliated. But at the end of the day, they are young girls growing up. They are allowed to say what they are saying. Maybe next time they will filter their words.

For Lukoma, the exchange never created a need for forgiveness.
