Daddy Andre Backs Suspension of Concerts Amid Ebola Outbreak
Daddy Andre has urged Ugandans to support the temporary suspension of concerts, saying the entertainment industry must accept short term sacrifices as the country battles the Ebola outbreak.
The singer and producer shared his views during an appearance on Sanyuka Uncut, where he weighed in on the Ministry of Health’s decision to restrict large public gatherings.
While some industry players have expressed concern about the impact on events, Andre believes the measures serve a bigger purpose.

I support the Ministry of Health because it is there for the well being of the people because even for all this time that musicians have been holding concerts, they are still beggars anyways.
He argued that protecting Ugandans from the spread of Ebola should take precedence over concerts and other entertainment activities.
So I think it is safe to suspend these shows and keep Ugandans from getting Ebola because these shows flop because they always complain so this is for the greater good.
For Andre, the restrictions may be inconvenient, but he believes they are necessary while health officials work to contain the outbreak.
