Gloria Bugie Advises Musicians With Gangs To Stay Within The Law

Gloria Bugie has weighed in on the growing culture of musicians moving with large gangs (egaali), saying she personally prefers sticking to professional security instead.

Unlike some male artistes who move around with big groups of friends and loyal camps, the singer says she only moves with bouncers and official security personnel.

To her, most female musicians avoid such setups because they rarely involve themselves in the kinds of conflicts that often exist among male artistes.

I think most male musicians have gangs because they usually have conflicts among themselves. But female musicians do not normally have such conflicts, which is why we do not need gangs.

Gloria Bugie made the remarks as conversations around musician gangs continue growing following several recent celebrity clashes.

Even so, she made it clear that she has no problem with musicians who choose to move with gangs as long as they stay within the law.

Everyone should do what brings them joy as long as it does not break the law.
