Kapa Cat Dismisses Gwokute Gwobba Remix, Says the Original Is Better

Dancehall singer Kapa Cat, real name Catherine Tumusiime, is not impressed with the remix of Uncle Chumi’s hit song “Gwokute Gwobba,” which features Spice Diana.

According to Kapa Cat, who shared her opinion in a media interview, the original version is much better.

She believes Spice Diana’s style does not blend well with dancehall and that she should stick to genres like Afrobeats and Afropop, where she shines.

“Gwokute Gwobba” was Uncle Chumi’s first song since she began her professional music career, and it made a name for her.

However, the newly released remix featuring Spice Diana has not won over everyone, with Kapa Cat among those who feel it falls short of the original.
