Karole Kasita Explains Why Artistes Missed Concert Press Conference
Karole Kasita has addressed questions surrounding the absence of fellow artistes at the press conference for her upcoming concert, “The Power Within,” at Kampala Serena Hotel on May 29.
The singer officially launched the final countdown to her maiden concert during a high-profile event held on May 13 at the MTN Uganda headquarters in Kampala.
However, many people quickly noticed that apart from Dax Vibez, no other notable musician attended the event, something that sparked speculation on social media.
Usually, fellow artistes show up at such events to publicly support one another, leaving some fans wondering whether Karole Kasita had fallen out with people in the industry.
But speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, the “Yaka” hitmaker explained that she intentionally avoided inviting artistes because she feared creating misunderstandings by inviting some and leaving others out.
Because I did not know who to invite and who to leave out. I did not invite them because I fear such situations. I will call one, then another will ask why I did not invite them. I always think about people on the other side all the time.
She insisted that she still shares a good relationship with fellow artistes despite their absence from the press conference.
But me and artistes we are okay. I think you have been seeing me and artistes in rehearsals on my social media pages. That means that me and artistes are okay. Just for this particular one, they are not here because I did not think of inviting them.
