In a recent Facebook post, Naira paid tribute to her father and revealed that music played a major role in his life as well.
The US-based Ugandan songstress shared that her father once led Qaswida performances and later worked as a DJ with Chicago Boys Disco.
She credits him for the talent and vocals that fans have come to associate with her music.
Incase you ever wondered where I got my talent/vocals. That is my taata (father). He used to lead Qaswida back in the day. He was a DJ too (Chicago Boys Disco). May Allah accept your ibada, Hajji Ali.
