Nigerian music icon Paul Nonso Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy from the legendary P-Square duo, has paid a heartfelt visit to Ugandan music superstar Jose Chameleone, who is currently hospitalized at Nakasero Hospital.

Rudeboy’s visit, accompanied by colleagues, was marked by prayers and words of encouragement for Jose Chameleone’s quick recovery.

The Nigerian star’s gesture of solidarity underscores the deep bonds of friendship shared by the two African music legends.

Jose Chameleone, one of Uganda’s most celebrated artists, has been battling an undisclosed illness.

Rudeboy’s visit has not only uplifted the ailing musician’s spirits but also served as a powerful message of support to his fans and the wider Ugandan music community.

The visit followed Rudeboy’s electrifying performance at the “Rudeboy Live in Gulu City” concert on December 21, 2024.

The event, held at Acholi Inn, drew massive crowds and highlighted the growing trend of international artists performing in Uganda’s northern and West Nile regions.

Gulu and Arua have recently emerged as major hubs for the entertainment industry, attracting foreign performers and boosting Uganda’s cultural scene.

Rudeboy’s concert further solidified the region’s status as a center for international events.

While his performance in Gulu thrilled fans, Rudeboy’s hospital visit demonstrated the power of compassion and unity among Africa’s music stars, reinforcing their role as ambassadors of hope and solidarity.
