Rapper Judas RapKnowledge Slams Media Presenters for Ignoring Regional Artistes

Northern Uganda’s celebrated rapper, Judas RapKnowledge Da Akbar, has called on musicians from Central Uganda to collaborate more with regional artistes to help push Ugandan music forward.

He expressed frustration over the recurring situation where artistes from the Central region travel to the North, make money, and then disappear.

Judas suggested that promoters bringing artistes from Central Uganda to perform in their region should be required to include a clause in the contract that mandates collaborations with Northern artistes.

He emphasized that these collaborations should be followed by efforts to promote the songs to ensure their success.

Judas also voiced his desire for top artistes like Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool to collaborate with Northern Uganda artistes.

In a bold move, he challenged GNL Zamba to collaborate with him, suggesting that he might even be better than the Lugaflow rapper, but they can never know unless they try.

He clarified that his frustration stems not from hate, but from the constant neglect of Northern artistes by their Central Uganda peers.

Turning his attention to TV presenters, Judas criticized them for focusing primarily on artists from Central Uganda while overlooking the many talented artistes from other regions.

In a striking statement, he claimed that Alien Skin is not better than him and that when it comes to rap, Fik Fameica is not superior either.

The only difference, he said, is that Fik Fameica is better branded.

Judas explained that Northern Uganda artistes do not have the financial resources to brand themselves as effectively as their Central region counterparts.

In conclusion, he expressed his dissatisfaction with how the industry and media treat regional artistes, urging for unity across the entire music scene and advocating for support for all artistes, regardless of their region.
