Sarah Short Reacts To Sarah Shortie Using Her Name

Veteran Ugandan entertainer Sarah Short has finally spoken out about content creator and comedian Sarah Shortie using a name similar to hers.

Sarah Short, who has spent years building her brand in Uganda’s comedy and entertainment industry, addressed the topic during an appearance on Daily Soup.

Despite online conversations comparing them because of their names and physical stature, she made it clear that she has no issue with Sarah Shortie.

According to her, many people expected tension between them, but she has chosen peace instead of drama.

I see her. She calls herself Sarah Short and I have no problem with her. I will not lie, I just let the situation be. There are situations where people want you to create drama, but me, I am free with everything because I know these are earthly things and we shall leave them all behind.

Sarah Short added that they operate in different spaces and fans can easily tell them apart.

Let her enjoy herself because besides that, we do different things. Even when people see us, they can differentiate us. Let her enjoy herself. There is no problem.

She also revealed that although she has heard Sarah Shortie say she adopted the name out of admiration for her, the two have never met in person.

I heard her say that she took the name because she loves me, but I have never met her face to face.

Her response has since impressed fans, with many praising her calm and mature approach to the situation.
