Shakib Confident Nairobi Bout Will Show Ugandans His Real Boxing Ability
Shakib Cham Lutaaya believes Ugandans have not yet seen the best version of him inside the boxing ring.
The businessman and socialite recently opened up about his upcoming corporate boxing clash against Kenyan singer Arrow Bwoy on June 20, a fight he believes will finally test his real ability.
While appearing on Sanyuka Uncut, Shakib admitted his previous first round knockout victory against Barista Timo did not push him hard enough because his opponent lacked proper boxing experience.

I am not someone who lies. In my last fight, my opponent was not fit enough. He did not know boxing that much, but he was the one available at that time.
However, Shakib expects a completely different challenge in Nairobi.
According to him, Arrow Bwoy understands exactly what is at stake, something that has forced him to train harder and physically transform himself ahead of the bout.

The one in Nairobi is a strong man with muscle, and he knows what we are getting into. I am going to show Ugandans that I have been training, and I am not going to disappoint them.
The socialite also revealed that intense training changed his physique over recent months as he prepares to chase bigger goals in corporate boxing beyond East Africa.
He made it clear that he is not entering the Nairobi fight just for entertainment, but with ambitions of winning titles across different regions.
I am going to Nairobi to win the East African belt. After East Africa, I will go for the UK title. After the UK, I will go for the whole world.

The upcoming showdown will mark Shakib’s fourth official corporate boxing fight.
He previously defeated media personality JK Kazoora, suffered a knockout loss to singer Rickman Manrick, and later bounced back with a knockout win against Barista Timo.
