Spice Diana Says She Will No Longer Turn the Other Cheek
Spice Diana has made it clear that she is no longer in the mood to turn the other cheek.
During a chat on Faith Unfiltered, the “Jangu Ondabe” hitmaker reflected on whether fights in the music industry have any real value.
While she insisted they do not, she acknowledged that sometimes they are simply unavoidable.
Fighting does not add value anywhere, but sometimes you cannot avoid them. The more someone pokes you, the more you find yourself in a situation where you have to react, whether through words or actions. We are human, so we make mistakes, we get annoyed, and we wrong each other. We do not do these things because we love them, but sometimes circumstances push us into it.
The singer admitted that she once prided herself on walking away from conflict, even when provoked.
It was a deliberate choice to protect her image, her brand, and her peace of mind, but that patience has wore thin.
I used to be the kind of person who, even if someone insulted me or stepped on me, would just let it go. I had a lot to lose, and I understood the importance of keeping respect, for myself, my brand, and the other person. But apparently, not anymore.
For Spice, kindness is a two-way street, and so is toughness.
The fact that I am the way I am now shows that this has always been part of my character. I am easy with those who are easy with me, but if you are hard on me, I will be extremely hard on you.
It is a bold stance from one of Uganda’s biggest stars, and a sign that she is ready to retaliate when pushed too far.
