Yul Edochie Urges Men to Walk Away From Disrespect
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked fresh debate after sharing his views on respect in relationships.
In a post on X, he urged men to stop tolerating disrespect, describing respect as something every man deserves in a marriage or relationship.
He made it clear that he sees it as non negotiable.
He went further and advised men to walk away from partners who fail to show respect, saying they should choose relationships where they feel valued.
Love for a woman is care, affection and attention. Love for a man is respect. So if you give her care, affection, attention and more and she cannot give you respect & peace of mind, dump her immediately. Do not negotiate anything. Leave her. There are other women out there who would respect you and treat you like the King you are.
The post quickly drew attention online, with many linking his comments to his ongoing issues with his estranged wife, May Edochie.
Their relationship has remained in the spotlight since 2022, when Yul introduced actress Judy Austin as his second wife while still married.
The situation escalated in 2023 after May filed for divorce, accusing him of adultery and seeking damages.
His latest comments have now added another layer to the conversation, as many continue to weigh in on both his message and his personal life.
