Spice Warms Hearts After Giving Back To Ugandan Communities
Spice has warmed hearts online after sharing a video documenting her efforts to give back to communities in Uganda while on tour.
In the video posted on her social media platforms, the Jamaican dancehall star explained that beyond performing, one of her biggest passions is supporting people through her Grace Hamilton Foundation.
Besties, come with me to give back to our community right here in Uganda, Africa, while I am on tour. Obviously, my show is coming up this Saturday, but you know what I love to do the most… let me go grab some books and stuff for the kids because I love to give back.
She later showed herself packing books, water, juice, and other supplies into a vehicle before heading out to visit a local community.
I am just here loving Uganda so much, and I wanted to find a community to give back to.
Spice has often spoken openly about her difficult upbringing and life before fame, something she says continues to inspire her passion for helping underprivileged communities.
Although it became nighttime before she reached the destination, she said she still felt fulfilled knowing she had managed to give back.
At least I still was able to do what I love to do the most, which is to give back to the people, the community, people who make me who I am today.
The gesture left many Ugandan fans praising Spice for using her visit to Uganda to connect with communities beyond the concert stage.
