Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has said she does not receive enough recognition for her contributions to Nigeria’s music scene.
Known as one of Africa’s most awarded female artists and often called the “Queen of Afrobeats,” Tiwa believes her achievements deserve more appreciation.
In a recent episode of the Offair Show co-hosted by Gbemi and Toolz, the singer spoke about her feelings toward industry recognition.
When asked if she has received her “flowers” from the industry, Tiwa gave a candid response, saying she has not.
