‘Avatar The Way of Water’ Hits Cinemas Again Before ‘Fire and Ash’

Avatar The Way of Water returns to Ugandan cinemas from October 3, 2025, ahead of Avatar Fire and Ash, set for December 19, 2025.

The re-release is designed to prepare audiences for the next chapter.

Fans attending screenings will get exclusive sneak previews of Fire and Ash.

James Cameron, visionary filmmaker and technical innovator, confirmed these previews will appear at different showings, encouraging multiple visits.

The Way of Water follows Jake Sully and Neytiri as they face the challenges of family life while defending Pandora.

With stunning underwater scenes, breathtaking CGI, and immersive 3D cinematography, the film delivers action and emotion while exploring family, survival, and connection to nature.

Cameron explained the timing is deliberate.

He wants audiences to reconnect with Pandora before the stakes rise in the new film.

Fire and Ash will introduce the Mangkwan Clan, known as the Ash People, a militant Na’vi group rejecting Eywa’s guidance.

Fire stands for anger and conflict, while ash reflects grief and aftermath.

For Ugandan fans, the timing could not be better.

The Way of Water is showing in 3D, IMAX, and Dolby Vision at major cinemas, including Century Cinemax at Acacia Mall, Metroplex, and Arena Mall, NuMax Cinemas, and EMT Cinemas at Ham Towers.
