D Star Accuses Mudra of Withholding ‘Hoozambe’ Remix Earnings
D Star of the “Hoozambe” fame has accused Mudra D Viral of withholding money from the “Hoozambe” remix.
The rising singer broke through in 2024 with his hit “Hoozambe,” which quickly spread across East Africa and introduced him to a wider audience.
The song gained even more traction after a remix with Mudra pushed it further on streaming platforms.
According to Khalifah Aganaga, the remix generated over UGX 140 million from YouTube alone, highlighting how big the record became.
But D Star says he has not received any of that money.
He claims Mudra took control of the earnings and did not share proceeds from the remix, despite him being the original creator.
The singer also revealed he is currently facing financial struggles, including difficulty paying rent, a situation that has drawn concern from fans following the dispute.
