Eric Omondi Exposes Woman Who Faked Abuse to Scam Kenyans

A shocking drama has rocked Kenya after comedian and philanthropist Eric Omondi uncovered a woman who faked a domestic abuse story to steal from the public.

Joyce Nyabuti staged the scam with friends, even hiring a man to pose as her violent husband.

In a heartless twist, she used her own child, who suffers from mental health challenges, to stir sympathy.

Moved by the false story, Kenyans rushed to help and sent over KSh 1 million straight into her M-Pesa account.

But Eric stepped in. After investigating, he exposed the lies and recovered much of the money, including KSh 500,000 sitting in her account and KSh 247,140 that was ready to be withdrawn.

He promised the funds would be redirected to families who are truly suffering.

In a surprising turn, Joyce broke down, confessed, and begged for forgiveness. Instead of pressing charges, Eric chose compassion.

“For the sake of this boy,” he said of her child, he allowed her to walk free.

Eric’s decision has drawn attention nationwide.

While some hail his mercy, he also sent out a warning: no one should ever take advantage of the kindness of Kenyans.
