Oprah Leads Entertainment Stars On Forbes Richest Self-Made Women List

Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, and Beyoncé have once again proven that success in entertainment can translate into enormous business fortunes.

The stars all earned places on Forbes’ latest list of America’s richest self-made women, a ranking that highlights women who built wealth through entrepreneurship, investments and business ventures alongside their entertainment careers.

Oprah remained the highest ranked entertainer on the list at No. 16, with an estimated net worth of $3.4 billion. Decades after becoming a television powerhouse, she continues to benefit from production ventures, investments and ownership stakes across multiple industries.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift secured the No. 23 spot with an estimated fortune of $2 billion. Much of her wealth comes from the record breaking success of the Eras Tour, music ownership and streaming revenue.

Kim Kardashian followed at No. 25 with an estimated net worth of $1.9 billion, thanks largely to the rapid growth of her SKIMS brand and other business ventures. Rihanna also made the list at No. 39 with an estimated fortune of $1 billion, driven by the success of Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.

Beyoncé rounded out the group at No. 43 with an estimated net worth of $1 billion. Her wealth reflects decades of chart success, global tours, fashion projects and business investments.

Together, the rankings show how some of entertainment’s biggest names have built brands that extend far beyond music, television and reality shows.
