Judith Heard Calls Out Kasuku for Remarks About Gongodyo’s Widow

Socialite and activist Judith Heard has criticized media personality Kasuku over remarks he made about the widow of late Rugby Cranes player Sydney Gongodyo.

Kasuku came under fire after commenting on the grieving widow’s appearance in a widely circulated video, describing her as “very fine” and suggesting that she would eventually find another man.

The remarks sparked criticism on social media, with many users accusing him of showing little regard for a family still mourning a loved one.

Judith Heard was among those who criticized Kasuku and urged him to put humanity before content creation.

My brother, I understand that everyone has their niche and style of content. But there must be a line where humanity comes before content.

She went on to remind Kasuku of the support he received when he lost his grandmother earlier this year.

When Kasuku lost his grandmother, the public mourned with him. People prayed for him. People comforted him. Nobody rushed to make jokes, create sensational headlines, or turn his pain into entertainment.

She argued that Sydney Gongodyo’s family deserves the same compassion as they come to terms with their loss.

Today, another family is grieving. A wife is mourning her husband. A child has lost his father. Parents have lost their son. Friends have lost a brother.

Heard concluded by calling for empathy, stressing that compassion should not depend on who is suffering.

Not everything is about views. Sometimes it is simply about being human.

Sydney Gongodyo died on June 5, 2026, at Mulago National Referral Hospital after sustaining injuries during a mob attack in Bukoto. He was 27.
