Kimberly Abigail And Luqman Matovu Win Big At Kiromo Teenz Awards
The glamorous Kiromo Teenz Choice Awards 2026 came to an exciting close on May 9 at UMA Show Grounds as thousands of teenagers, students, celebrities, and entertainment lovers turned up for one of Uganda’s biggest youth events.
The night featured fashion, music, talent, and high energy as contestants from different schools across the country competed for the coveted Mr and Miss High School and Teen Uganda crowns.
Representing Elite High School, Kimberly Abigail emerged as the biggest winner of the night after judges crowned her Miss High School Uganda 2026. Her confidence, elegance, and stage presence impressed both judges and fans.
Luqman Matovu from St Julian High School Gayaza claimed the Mr High School Uganda 2026 title after standing out with his charisma and performance on stage.
In the teen category, Mitchelle Yang from Airfield SS claimed the Miss Teen Uganda 2026 crown, while Neymar Brave from Elite High School won the Mr Teen Uganda 2026 title.
The event also saw Natasha from Merryhill High School take home the Mirinda Brand Ambassador Uganda 2026 title.
Over the years, the Kiromo Teenz Choice Awards have grown into one of Uganda’s biggest youth platforms, celebrating teen talent, fashion, leadership, creativity, and entertainment.
