King Michael Wonders Why Promoters Snub His Concert Plans
Veteran singer King Michael says the hardest part of his journey has not been making music. It has been convincing other people to believe in what he already sees.
During a chat with Shalom 256 and Frank Ntambi, King Michael opened up about the challenges he has faced while trying to organize concerts, revealing that many promoters have shown little interest in backing him.
Their reluctance surprises him because he believes his catalogue has already stood the test of time.

I have had songs like Kwata Kwata and Muko Muko that have had massive airplay for over a decade to date. I do not see why no one would want to invest in me because my fans would come through.
While some industry players remain unconvinced, King Michael says he has never lost faith in himself.
I believe in myself because if I did not, I would have given up a long time ago.
That confidence helped him move past the disappointment of his 2023 concert and continue planning for the future.
With an August 1 concert approaching, the singer says a wealthy friend has offered support, giving him another opportunity to show that the audience he believes in is still behind him.
