Lil Pazo Calls for Fairness Among Artistes at President Museveni’s Rallies
Ugandan singer Lil Pazo, real name Yasin Mukasa, has shared his thoughts about working with fellow musicians at President Museveni’s campaign events.
The singer, who once supported the National Unity Platform (NUP) before joining the National Resistance Movement (NRM), says he made the change because he needed better opportunities to support his life and music career.
Speaking during an interview with Sanyuka Uncut, Lil Pazo thanked Big Size Bebe Cool for always encouraging artistes to perform at campaign events.
He praised Bebe Cool as someone with a good heart who wants musicians to earn money and take care of their families.
However, Lil Pazo said he is disappointed in the behavior of some artistes who attend the same events.
He explained that during the day, many of these artistes act friendly. They eat together, share jokes, and talk about normal things like beautiful ladies or sauna stories. But when the time comes to meet President Museveni, they suddenly disappear without telling others.
Lil Pazo accused some musicians of being selfish and behaving as if the President is their personal property.
He also said that a few artistes try to block others from performing.
According to him, they act like the crowd has come to see them alone, yet most people at the rallies are actually there to see the President.
The singer ended his message by calling for unity, respect, and fairness among artistes during all campaign activities.
He believes that if everyone works together, there will be enough opportunities for all performers.
