Lydia Jazmine Explains Why Marriage and Kids Are Off the Table… For Now
Ugandan songbird Lydia Jazmine has made it clear that marriage and children are not at the top of her priorities right now.
In a chat with Tawfiq Media, Lydia explained that she has bigger goals to focus on than tying the knot or starting a family.
She congratulated her friend Sheebah, who became a mother about a year ago and also completed building a house for her mother.
Inspired by Sheebah, the “Masuuka” star said she is concentrating on making money and hitting personal milestones, while marriage and children can wait.
I am looking for money. I am focused on finding ways to make money and push myself further. I am still building a house for my mother. My friend Sheebah finished building a house for her mother, which made me very happy. I am working on mine. So, we have a lot to think about besides marriage and giving birth.

Lydia emphasized that although marriage and children are not her immediate priorities, she still believes in them and will embrace them wholeheartedly when the time is right.
The least of our problems are marriage and giving birth, but when it comes, it comes. It is a blessing from God. When it happens, it happens. And we all love it. We want children.
