Rasta Rob Emerges From Retirement With One Message: “Bring Zari Back!”

Veteran radio personality and former celebrity DJ Rasta Rob has re-emerged in the spotlight with a bold declaration following reports of a breakup between socialite queen Zari Hassan and Shakib Cham.

Rasta Rob says he was saddened by news of the reported split and insists he would gladly welcome Zari back into his life to rekindle their past romance.

According to him, the pair first met in the 1990s at the famous Jinja Sailing Club, long before Zari became one of East Africa’s most recognizable socialites.

He claims he was her first love and believes their connection remains special despite the years that have passed.

For many Ugandans, Rasta Rob was one of the biggest entertainment personalities of his era.

During his time at Sanyu FM, CBS FM and Super FM, he built a massive following and became a household name on the airwaves.

He later relocated to the United Kingdom, where he spent several years before eventually returning to Uganda.

After his return, he largely stepped away from radio and public life, choosing to keep a low profile.

However, years after leaving the spotlight, the veteran entertainer has once again found himself making headlines through comments that have sparked fresh interest in his history with Zari.

Whether his remarks were a serious proposal or simply a nostalgic reflection on a youthful romance, they have added a fresh twist to the ongoing speculation surrounding Zari and Shakib’s relationship.
