Ray G Hopes Kololo Airstrip Concert Inspires Artistes to Dream Bigger
Ray G believes his upcoming concert at Kololo Independence Grounds could inspire fellow Ugandan artistes to pursue ambitions they may once have considered out of reach.
For the singer, born Muhairwe Reagan, the concert represents the culmination of years spent building his career, overcoming setbacks, and refining his craft.

It has been years of hard work, failing, learning, and trying again. It is a journey that has shaped who I am today.
He shared those reflections during an appearance on NBS After 5, where he spoke about the significance of performing at one of Uganda’s most iconic venues.
Rather than viewing the concert as a personal milestone alone, he believes its success could encourage other artistes to aim higher.
If this concert succeeds, many artistes will realize that it is possible. One person’s breakthrough gives others the confidence to believe in themselves.
Preparations for the event continue, and Ray G says he remains confident in the team tasked with delivering the show.
He singled out promoter Abtex, describing him as one of the most experienced concert organizers in the country.

Abtex has organized some of the biggest concerts in Uganda. He is very organized, and I believe everything will run smoothly.
Beyond the performances, Ray G hopes the concert will serve as proof that Ugandan artistes can dream bigger and turn those ambitions into reality.
