Rema to Perform Alongside Katy Perry and Tyla at 2026 World Cup
Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema will take center stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Los Angeles.
FIFA unveiled the entertainment lineup on Instagram and included the Nigerian singer among several global stars set to perform during the event on June 12.
Rema will share the stage with Katy Perry, LISA, Tyla, Future, and Anitta as football fans across the world tune in for the tournament opener.
According to FIFA, the artists reflect the cultural diversity of the United States and the strong influence of music and entertainment across different communities.
Music fans also expect the release of the tournament’s official anthem, Dai Dai, from Burna Boy and Shakira on May 14.
The World Cup final on July 19 will introduce a Super Bowl style halftime show for the first time. Chris Martin of Coldplay will oversee the performance.
