The Trinidadian rapper and singer-songwriter, born Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, revealed that once her career started soaring, her weekends became packed with performances, leaving little energy for Sunday worship.
Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church.
Although her Sundays looked different after fame arrived, Minaj said her connection with God never disappeared.
She acknowledged that staying consistent can be difficult, but said she continues striving to strengthen her faith and grow spiritually.
