The Afrobeats star has reportedly become the first African artiste to cross 11 billion Spotify streams across all credits, further strengthening his position as one of the continent’s biggest global music exports.
Music chart platform ChartsAfrica announced the achievement in a post shared on X while highlighting Wizkid’s long run of Spotify records.

The latest milestone arrives shortly after the release of “State of Mind,” Wizkid’s collaboration with DJ Tunez.
According to reports, the song pulled more than 685,000 global Spotify streams during its first day on the platform following its May 15 release.
Over the years, Wizkid has continued expanding Afrobeats globally through international collaborations, streaming success and sold out performances across multiple continents.
