Barista Timo After First-Round Loss: “I Came to Influence Boxing”
Barista Timo has finally spoken out after his heavy loss to Shakib Cham Lutaaya, and his message may surprise fans.
The social media personality, who was stopped in the first round during their corporate boxing clash on April 11 at International University of East Africa, says winning was never his main goal.
Speaking on Sanyuka Crossfire, Timo explained that his mission was to shine a light on boxing and get people talking.

According to him, the sport has dominated conversations before and after the fight, which he sees as a clear success.
The bout drew strong attention online and offline, with many fans rallying behind both men ahead of the event.
Even after the knockout, debate around the fight has continued to grow.

Timo insists that impact matters more than the result.
While the loss may have settled things in the ring, he believes he achieved something bigger outside it by pushing boxing into the spotlight once again.
I came to influence the sport of boxing, and we did that to perfection. Ever since I landed in the country, up to now, it has been about two weeks, and we have been talking about one thing, boxing. Even before the bout happened and now after it is done.
