Drake Floods Billboard Charts With Record Breaking Triple Release

Drake did not just top the Billboard charts this week. He practically erased everybody else from them.

The Canadian rapper and singer flooded streaming platforms with three projects at once, “ICEMAN,” “HABIBTI” and “MAID OF HONOUR,” then watched all of them storm straight into the Billboard 200 Top 3.

Nobody had ever done that before.

“ICEMAN” opened at No. 1 with massive streaming numbers, while the other two releases locked down the remaining spots behind it. For one tracking week, Billboard’s biggest albums belonged entirely to Drake.

And somehow, that was only half the story.

On the Hot 100, “Janice STFU” debuted at No. 1 and officially pushed Drake past Michael Jackson for the most chart topping singles by a solo male artist.
Then came the pileup.

Forty two Drake songs landed on the Hot 100 simultaneously. Another record. His total entries climbed to 402. Another record. His Top 10 count stretched to 90. Yet another record.

At this point, the numbers barely sound real anymore.
