Feffe Bussi Offers Big Break for Upcoming Rappers at Lugogo Concert

Ten years into his career, Ugandan rapper Feffe Bussi is turning his upcoming concert into a launchpad for new talent.

The “Hip-Hop Ku Ntiko” show will take place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on May 16, 2026, but the focus will not be on him alone.

While appearing on Weekender, Feffe pointed to a unique part of the event built around upcoming rappers.

Several new acts will perform, and a rap battle will decide who walks away with five million shillings at the end of the night.

The stakes go even higher with lugaflow legend GNL Zamba offering a recording contract through Baboon Forest Entertainment for the winner.

The concert will double as a celebration and a turning point for one rising rapper.

First and foremost, I have brought together many rappers Uganda has not seen before. These are artists I believe deserve a chance to be seen and heard. I have put up five million shillings for a rap battle, and the winner will receive the money immediately at Lugogo. GNL Zamba has also offered a recording contract at Baboon Forest Entertainment for the winner.
