Hellen Lukoma Urges Entertainers To Stop Hiding Their Real Age
Ugandan actress and singer Hellen Lukoma has opened up about growing older, saying people in the entertainment industry should stop treating age like an insult.
Speaking in an interview with Truth Media, Hellen said many celebrities hide their real age because society often mocks older entertainers, especially women in showbiz.
She said she has no shame about getting older and instead sees it as a blessing rather than something to fear.
People use old age as an insult, but they forget it is such a blessing from God. I am not saying I am young, but I am proud of where I am.
According to Hellen, age reflects growth, experience, and personal success.
She added that she is proud of her journey and everything she has achieved over the years.
At my age, I have achieved a lot that many people might never get to achieve. I am an old woman and comfortable with my achievements.
Hellen believes being comfortable with herself matters more than trying to appear young forever.
