Pinky Reveals Why She Will Not Clash With Jeff Kiwa Over Music Rights

While many artistes continue to clash with former managers over music rights and royalties, Rahmah Pinky says fans should not expect a public fight between her and Jeff Kiwa.

The “Picha” hitmaker opened up about her time under Team No Sleep (TNS) and acknowledged that the label still partly owns much of the music she recorded there.

TNS owns part of my catalogue, I only have performing rights.

According to Pinky, TNS financed and pushed the music during her stay at the label, which is why the company still owns part of the catalog.

Even so, she spoke highly of Jeff Kiwa and credited him for helping shape her career and push her music to wider audiences during her time at TNS.

As for me, you will not hear me claiming my music from him because he has been a foundation to my music career.

Pinky’s remarks come amid the ongoing dispute between Sheebah Karungi and Jeff Kiwa over ownership rights to music recorded during her time under TNS.
