Kanye West Cleared To Perform In Netherlands Despite Backlash

Kanye West’s European comeback has taken another unexpected turn.

While several countries and venues pulled the plug on his concerts, officials in the Netherlands have allowed two planned shows to move forward.

The rapper will perform in Arnhem next month after local authorities approved permits for the events.

The move comes despite criticism from Dutch lawmakers who wanted West denied entry over a string of antisemitic remarks that triggered international outrage.

Officials reviewed the situation but concluded that they lacked sufficient legal grounds to block the artist from entering the country.

West’s recent tour plans have faced major obstacles across Europe. Britain barred him from entering the country, France saw pressure mount against one of his planned appearances, and a Polish venue canceled a scheduled concert altogether.

Even so, the rapper remains booked for several upcoming performances as he continues to push ahead with his European tour plans.
