Mugabi shared the update with fans on social media and asked the public to continue following health guidelines as Uganda responds to Ebola concerns.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, I am gutted to announce that the Fans’ Favourite Songs Edition (Edition 2) of the 10 Years of Kibun’omu celebrations has been postponed to a later date.

The good news for fans is that they can keep their tickets for the rescheduled concert.

To our Ugandan soul music family, all purchased tickets remain valid and will be honoured on the new date, which will be announced soon.

Mugabi also encouraged Ugandans to stay safe and continue observing Ministry of Health guidelines during this period.

As we navigate this period together, we encourage everyone to continue observing Ministry of Health guidelines regarding Ebola and to keep their families and communities safe.

The soul star thanked sponsors, partners and fans for their patience and understanding as organizers work on a new date.

While fans wait for the celebrations to resume, Mugabi pointed them to his latest project and encouraged them to check out Track 15 from “Tales of Mugabi.”

He ended his message with optimism, promising that the party is only on pause for now.
