Man Pleads Guilty in Theft of Unreleased Beyoncé Music

Beyoncé saw a major development in the theft case involving her unreleased music after Kelvin Evans pleaded guilty in Atlanta.

Prosecutors accused Evans of taking part in a break in linked to a rental vehicle used by Beyoncé’s choreographer during the Cowboy Carter tour period.

Investigators said the suspects stole hard drives containing unreleased songs, along with confidential tour material tied to the highly anticipated shows.

Police combined surveillance footage with Apple’s Find My tracking system connected to stolen AirPods to trace the people involved in the theft.

Authorities later arrested Evans in Georgia before he accepted a plea agreement in court.

The judge sentenced Evans to two years in prison followed by probation, bringing fresh attention to security concerns surrounding unreleased music and large scale tours.
